Mitsis Summer Palace Kardamena , Kardamena (Kos)

The hotel was clean and comfortable but needing a refurbishment. The staff was super friendly and kind, with a good level of English. The location is stunning and beautifully designed with a welcoming ambiance. The dining experience had some issues with other guests pushing in during the buffet.

The hotel rooms were lovely, clean, and spacious, perfect for me, my husband, and our three-year-old. However, I was disappointed with the food options and the limited snack availability in the afternoons, making it feel more like half board than all-inclusive. The presence of many flies around the bar areas was off-putting, but thankfully, we could afford to dine out. The hotel staff, especially the bus service to Kardamena, worked tirelessly. While I won't be returning due to the language barrier and limited activities for my child, the spare bed was comfortable, although not the case for a friend's teenager with a camp-style bed.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were large with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the beach, but the dangerous ladder to the pool was a bit concerning. The location was stunning, though the lack of available beds by the pools was a downside. The dining options had good variety but some dishes were not served hot. Overall, it was a lovely experience with some room for improvement.
